Assignment #17

The Movie Smoke Signals is a movie that caught my eye, immediately caught my because of the humor.  The most thing that caught my eye was Thomas he was a bright young man who always had a smile on his face, not only that he could never stop talking.  His friend Victor was a man of strength and he also has a story of his words. They were friend a weird pair I might say. Thomas was a young man who lost his parents in a fire at a young age, so he appreciated Victor’s father.

The Victor was a different story his father use to hit him, and his mom he always drank and messed up most of the time, a long after that he left him and his mother. The movie plays a part of everyone has their own tale of any kind of story.  When the father left Victor was crushed but lived on with his life. One day he comes home and the mom has told him his father died, and wanted to see if he would go get the remains and the truck. He was in Arizona, but the thing was Victor didn’t have the money for that he was broke,

Thomas a generous as he is ask Victor if he could help out with the money but that he would have to go with him. So they went on their journey. The movie showed character in the nation of Indian people, which was great; they had their own life, freedom and taste. The story sets of with tales, or lies. It also touched me when Victor found truth on this trip, that his father wanted to go back, and that he did love him he found to see that what known as his father wasn’t real, it’s only what he thought. That his father just had to get away from is present and face the future he had so many thoughts and nightmares that were haunting him.  This story explained to me that people do everything for a reason, and nothing more and that forgiveness just always have a voice.
