Assignment #11

2 Pac's Verse

"Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk without having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared.

To me this man was trying to get a point across that it shouldn't matter where you’re from, because if it did most people wouldn't be successful. The first line "Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?" Is an expression of that even though things aren't supposed to be alive and grow in concrete that its possible, showing even though theirs a hard wall their not letting you make your way you must be strong and work hard to get through that cycle. And when you work hard and don't let anything bring you down, a beautiful thing came become of it, like this rose. And he's saying that he's proving nature is wrong that if you’re in the "hood" or "Ghetto" You can be better them most of your family or friends that there is better to life then what you can only see. That when you don't have something that the other person has you can learn do the something in a different way you have courage and when you have what you want you can’t let it go because you know how precious it is and how hard you have work for it.

He also explains that ”Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air."

He explains that the flower just kept the dream of breathing fresh air and seeing the light of day was all it took. The rose never lost its faith in anyway what the rose wanted it got because it kept its mind on what was real to itself. Never forgetting what it wanted it got strength and thick roots break through that concrete and breathe fresh cool air. "Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared."
In a way the rose shows you that when you believe nothing is possible if you don’t put any effort or strength in what you believe, and even though everybody believed you couldn't make it or survive, now you can yell to the world and say look at me I made it and I did it without you, and even though you didn't care I made it here and I’m going to stay here.

To me this helps be believe that there’s going to be people out there who have doubts about me which are always going to happen. But I will keep my head up high and strong, without thinking and doing what makes me happy.






                                 

Assignment 10 Bully

  I mean being bullied is horrible and  people who bully should be ashamed.  I v been bulied at small attempts , in other words of been called names or just been teased but no,not beaten up or thrown down in anyway. I'v been called characters i'v look like on Disney movies. And yes its did hurt my feelings, but yet i wasn't bullied as much as Jaime was,bullying is a horrible thing that has happened to the United States.

What hurts to know is that some people watch others being bullied, which sucks because I'm sure if they were in the same situation they would want someone to help them.

People these days don't help eachother when they need it, instead they stay back and watch someone get hurt, or even watch for just intertainment.And what isn't right also is that the principles are taking sides witch makes it worse on them. All though this situation with Jaime and his school im glad to say that my school if very involved with bulling and also being gay. Now this time before I didn't think about bulling and pain from others. But aftetr i watch JAime and his story I wanna make people realize that no on deserves to be picked on or bullied. gay people have the right to speak their mind and get to express their feelings. And others shouldn't disrespeact their ways of living, even though some of them don't approve. I believe that i don't ever want to have to stop bullying. also help someone who is being bullying.

Not Just our World

We as people believe are just human ,that no other living organism is know or yet discovered. Well our minds and imagination are about to change.
 When we look in to the sky we believe all we see is big ball of gasses that science say that they were once brighter but now just dimed lights in the air. But their was one kid who believed their was more, he was about 5'8, a lil scranny, blue eyes with dirty blonde hair, eyebrows thick and heavy, he was 17 a  student at Atrisco Heritage Academy.  Jason was a bright kid and not in history or english not even History , but subjects like science, biology and math were the key to his thoughts. He wanted to think that their was more to life, instead of looking towards Micheal Jackson or any NBA play he looked towards the scientist, and geniuses. Jason had to think and believed that their was more to life and what it means. Jasone took the time to always look up and ask him self what else is their , who else is out their and what is out of the ordinary.

His questions brought him to a discovery, June 13.2012 he was walking home from a late night in the library finally finishing that eglish blogg that was due the nest day. On his wa he sang a song" Just the wayy you are!", and as Jason was missing every note he manage to look up and wonder if the stars ever sing to wach other for confert, and when he stared he seen a larger glow the usuall. He squinted his eye's trying to get a better view, and he realized the beam of light was getting closer. Jason was getting excited wondering if it was a star falling or a plain loosing its landing, he seen the odd looking ship land in the mesa.

And he was sure that noone else seen it cause no others were around or any commotion. Jason was fluttering with butterflies, he peeked through the the tree seeing these wonderful creaters which we cal Aliens. To him he felt confert and joy, he tried not to make to much noise and end up doomed, so he creept but it wasn't enough they have caught him and Jason stood and sang" your amazing just the way your are'', they stook a step and replies with a humming of'" a song called Respect", Jasson finished off with his solo and the alien smiled. Jason welcomed with open arms, now when he heard the alien it wasn't a talk it was a way of the brain jason could only hear voice in his head.

Talien granted him with open arms to the space ship, blue bright neon lights glew out the sides, a great white bright light from the top, his eye's burts when he seen nothing but buttons on the ship, and light coming out from everywhere. He seen more of his new friends kind, the all smilled and said funny jokes, and to Jason he wasn't scared or worried he felt in place. The ship begin to move and the odd shaped man told him hold on, all jason seen was this 6'7 man put his foot on the peddal , and as soon as that happed all you see were color fadding past his face , he didn't scream but al he heard were voices in his head were laughs and smiles of joy.

he had wondered why people make up lies and stories of how horrible other beans are when we are at the same system and joy. when it slowed down they have passed by Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,Uranus,Neptune, Pluto, which man kind thought were the only planets known to us, but of course we were wrong. A lil way out of our universe were gorgouse bright colorful, ginormouse, blobbs of stars and leads rock meteroids, that were as tall as mount everist. he look and the friend next to him and ask why have you guys not stop and enjoyed the view? "He replied their is not enough words to express after you have used every 123489000 word we know to discribe what you see",  Jason looked with and expression of" I only know about 8 words to discribe this". The creature laugh and said you humans are so disfunction we aliens know way to much for your humans to ever think of'". He smiled but you son you see what others can't see you see life and it's discoveries.

You look at your world as a niddle in an ocean, you understand that you can look out of reality and imagine the future. Jasmon looked and said" do you aliens have names?" Yes he said my name is Burple:) My parents named me after their favorite band. When when we reached their home planet you can see lif wasn't the same for them. The ground was lighten up with blue, tree's were pink, glowing with glory and the animals were happy noone was hurting them no chains or cages, the water was so clear their was miles and miles of fresh cutt grass, life was wonderful, people seemed to be happy and thankful for the planet they had. I explain" My planet was once like this millions of years ago, but not its distructin, life is a battle and confusion". Burple looked around and said" Jason life isn't what other make of it ,its if you make a chance of change in your eye's". Jasone asked if he couls show him around ,Burple told him the historical sories of how humans were once as intelligent like they were but we became absent minded, he showed me places that you only see if you were in a dream or fantasy.
To them love was found when they knew she was one, they didn't date as much as we did but, when they seen the glow in her /his eyes you knew they were yours forever. children wer smiling, bubbly and laughing, Burple explain that their just peopl of happieness. He also explained aliens were made of peace and love, trouble didn't happen to them it was unknown. jason realized that this happened for a reason he needed to help his world and make it a better place, he asked Burple if he could take him back home, the alien told him yes. when they arrived in the mesa, Jason asked Burple will this be the last time, Burple laughed and said no were all around you just dont know, he handed him a ring bright nice colors, when you need me just tap the ring. Jason smiled and said 'Thanks ,Thanks for everything", Burple said"No, Jason thank you for letting me believe that theirs peopl who belive we are at peace and that the world was a place of others." The nest day Jason went to school, with a big smile.

The same day their was an assembly, he asked to speak after the principle. Jason started out with a joke and said, theirs kids out in these bleachers who believe oh school is BS and life is just a fact, and that their isn't others. But your wrong, their are others and their smart, sweet, and normal. we as people should think of our selves and others and our planet, we are killing our planet as we speak, kids help recycle, be happy and don't pick on each other just always think posotive believe that their is something bugger waiting for you at the end, life is more than you think, life isn't about being sad or angry, began cycle of rejoice. And just live as if you would'nt be able to see tomarro. We as people aren't alone others are in the universe and their learning from our mistakes, so let make a dicision would we want our kids seeing not a piece of grass on this earth or even butterfly in the sky? Whats life without meaning, we need tos tand and deliver a song for our world to sing, and realize that we are all we got and, we not making much of it. The childre, teens, and teachers, stared shocked. Jason said "thank you for listening", and walk off. Jason was nervouse for their response, after kids came up to him he thought they would call him freak or wierdo, but they did'nt they gave him patts and said you know what your right. Atrisco Heritages pride spread like a wild fire people begain to be more happy help other and reduce distruction , by 2013 the worl was refreshed and finished with joy, it was once green again and full of life, and soon enough Jason intriduced Blurple and his world to ours, Now as people we became one with the universe.

Assignment 8

The Neckless was a great explanation of being truthful. Life is ful of mistakes you just need to learn how to fulfill those mistakes, also  never think twice about telling the truth. The story shows that telling the truth is way better then loosing your lifes worth to a white lie..

Assignment 7

Jealousy is simply and clearly the fear that you do not have value. Jealousy scans for evidence to prove the point - that others will be preferred and rewarded more than you. There is only one alternative - self-value. If you cannot love yourself, you will not believe that you are loved. You will always think it's a mistake or luck. Take your eyes off others and turn the scanner within. Find the seeds of your jealousy, clear the old voices and experiences. Put all the energy into building your personal and emotional security. Then you will be the one others envy, and you can remember the pain and reach out to them. (Jennifer James)

The quotation Above  is explainging that your are beautiful in every way your shaped, you never change anything you already are. You have to love yourself before you think anyone else can love yu. People this days espeacially teens have a tough time gettting to people,Your life is valued in every way. Before you ever give your self a chance to be beautiful, and I mean reall beauty no being like someone else beauty comes from inside and who you are. People can only love you so much, but the person who shoulod love their selves is you.
You see other people the way they see their selves not the way they want you to see them, life is a struggle at times, and all you can do is learn how to deal with them. You should never think lower of your self, you were speacialy made for someone that will love you for you and not who you wanna be. when you love your self and respect who you are you will seee people envy who you are and how you see yourself, peopl become more respected to who you are, and do them a favor and explain to them who they should be or how they should treat their selves. remeber that people who are jeliouse and tell you mean ugly words just remember hey she or he say's that because they have low self esteem, and give them an idea of how they should look at their selves. Just because their that way don't descreat them value them and help them with their self esteem. And tell them Here's To You.:)

Assignment 6

What this poem means to me  is that Langston Hughes wishes life wasn't so crew, he wishes man kind was one and not being chanllenged because the color of your skin. That life wasn't decided for us that men kind had s chance to speak what they wnat to say have the freedom to do what they want. He wants a world of beauty in every site not a meaning of having to look for beauty under all the distruction.Tthe world is field with danger, life of nothing but violence, goals of distrusction, he wishes color wasn't such a distraction to others, and that maybe the terrors happening in the world would matter more. Motther earth is suffering because of our hate, he wishes peace could take over and make it a better place for our children and our childrens children.
A treaty must be accomplished, love should over power hate, the power we have to pick a distant relationship, and a better value of life. What we live off of is paper and instead taking money for granted we treat those we love with hate and sore. Our futture is in the hands of others higher then us, she should show and accomplish ,the paths they give us and not make more distruction. Faith is a pain and we always end up paying for others mistakes which Im sure everyone hates. To me when people like this poet writter speaks his mind he has found the way of being free and peace and using love instead of hate. He just want to let us follow his map and his quest.
